Good hotel to stay near Bhubaneshwar Railway station

This hotel is located about 5-7 minutes walk from Bhubaneshwar Railway station. After coming out of railway station walk towards left towards booking office(for railway tickets),walk a little further and take road towards right and you will find Sai Amrit residency. Booked a single AC room(No complimentary breakfast) and it costed me Rs 1000.00 per night. Room is small,toilets are very small so i don't think rooms are worth Rs 1000,but the room and toilets were very clean. There is no geyser in rooms and no hot water will be provided for bathing as per receptionist. Tv provided in room is small.Ac worked fine. Ordered Dinner at 10:20 Pm and the same was served in room at 10:45 Pm.Ordered Chicken fried rice,Fish masala and Amul pista drink for dinner and it costed me only Rs 240.00 and food was tasty too. Fish masala requires special mention and fish lovers if having lunch/dinner here i will recommend to order this dish. If the room was about say Rs 700 per night i would have certainly recommended this Hotel for Ac Single room,but for Rs 1000 rs per night i will not recommend this as the rooms are very small. Since i could not find single rooms in hotels near railway station i had no other option but to book this. Apart from Room rates nothing much negative points about this Hotel stay.

I had a meeting in Bhubaneswar and this was the hotel I chose to stay in. The rooms and all are okay. The bathroom is good though on the smaller side. But the main complaint is the inefficient staff. I ordered a bottle of water and they charged me for three. Really not good.

Although i had informed the hotel that i shall be checking in the following day morning i was kept waiting by the frontdesk staff for 40 minutes citing several reasons.He also told that they have received no communications from cleartrip despite i had shown them the cleartrip SMS with all reference numbers.This type of hotels should be de-listed from cleartrip portal.
